About Me Education & Training: Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy (Brigham Young University) M.S. in Psychology (Brigham Young University) Areas of Clinical Expertise: Marriage & Couples Therapy and Pre-marital Counseling: Conflict, communication/problem-solving, relationship enhancement, infidelity, forgiveness Family Therapy: Parent-child relationships, childhood behavioral & emotional problems Individual therapy: Depression, anxiety, stress, anger, sexual addictions, relationship issues
Scholarly Work and Research Interests: I am a full-time faculty member of the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at UNLV. I teach primarily in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program in which we train masters students to become marriage and family therapists. My research interests include change processes in marital therapy, the treatment of infidelity, and forgiveness. I have published in leading academic journals and have given national and international presentations on these topics.
